•Jyotsna had her Arangetram at the Kenya National Theatre, Nairobi, in August 1999.

•In January 2001, Jyotsna participated at the Spirit of Unity Concerts in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh; she was part of SIFA’s “Mirror of Love-Prema Darpana’ presented at the Music Academy in June 2001.

•Jyotsna has danced at some major sabhas in Chennai, such as the Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, (2002, 2005, 2006); Kartik Fine Arts (2003, 2005, 2006, 2007); Brahma Gana Sabha (2006); Mylapore Fine Arts Club (2005); Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha (2004); Pushpanjali Trust (2004) and at the Sri Varasiddhi Vinayagar Temple for the Nrityanjali Trust (2004); at the Yuva Utsav Festival under the banner of Bharat Kalachar (2002).

•Jyotsna was selected to perform in 2004 under the auspices of the Natyarangam, the dance wing of Narada Gana Sabha; was one of the four young dancers to perform at the Bharathiyar Illam during the poet’s anniversary celebrations (2004).

•In 2002 and 2005, Jyotsna danced in the pristine presence of Lord Nataraja at the Natyanjali Festival held during Sivarathiri in Chidambaram and in Perur, Coimbatore for the Natyanjali Festival in 2005.

•In Mumbai, Jyotsna has been featured at the Mulund Fine Arts, Vashi Fine Arts and Rasika Ranjani Sabha, in 2005. She inaugurated the Music and Dance Festival of the Dombivli Fine Arts in 2006. She performed at the Fine Arts Society, Chembur, for the Vinayagar Chathurthi celebrations (2006).

•She was invited to perform in 2006 for the Poona Sangeeth Sabha. Jyotsna participated in the Nritya Pratibha Youth Festival of the Sangeet Natak Akademi (2006) in Indore.

•In Bangalore, she has danced at the Kittappa Pillai Memorial Festival (2005); and during the Gokulashtami Celebrations at the Sri Venugopalasami Temple (2005).

•She performed at the Mamallapuram Dance Festival 2006.

•She gave dance recitals in Pollachi, Neyveli, Madurai and Chennai, under the Talent Promotion Scheme of the Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Manram, in 2006.

•Jyotsna competed at the Spirit of Youth Concerts 2006, Music Academy, Chennai.
